To upload devices from Cisco Network Assistant (CNA) into Cisco Active Advisor (CAA), you must log into CNA with your Cisco.com credentials (the same one you use for logging into Active Advisor), and the feature labeled as 'Product Improvement' must be enabled within CNA.

You can enable this under CNA Preferences under the application drop-down at the top, or using the 'gear' icon. Once enabled, after connecting to a device or community of devices, after a minute or two a 'Product Improvement' window will pop up. Click 'Yes', and any CAA supported devices that are visible in the topology screen will be uploaded into the Active Advisor tool.

You can optionally first view the data to be uploaded, the data is scrubbed to remove sensitive information such as credentials.
