Within Active Advisor, under the Tools section, there is a tool named "IOS Config Upload". This tool lets you cut-n-paste the output of several "show" type commands from your device in order to register the device within Active Advisor. While scanning devices is the preferred method of registering devices, choosing this option may allow you to upload device types that are not yet officially supported by the scanner.
Because some features of Active Advisor such as "Enabled Features", as well as all best practices "Health" tools, depend on knowing the exact configuration of your devices in order to make recommendations, IOS Config Upload is generally superior to using the simple serial-number based "Upload from file" option to register devices.
Do take care to sanitize any passwords, SNMP communities, or other credentials or authentication configurations, as well as any sensitive IP address information before registering the device using the IOS Config Upload.
